November 2013, Avi Nevel, CEO of  Nevel International, LLC led a Life Science/Health Care mission to Israel November 8-16 in partnership with the International Trade Office of the RICC (Rhode Island Commerce Cooperation).
 

October  2012, Avi Nevel, CEO of Nevel International LLC, was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.  The Providence Chamber is the largest in Rhode Island and comprises of 2000 member businesses representing all 39 cities and towns in Rhode Island.  http://www.provchamber.com.

 

March  2012, Avi Nevel, CEO of Nevel International, LLC was appointed as Vice Chair of the RI DEC, by the Office of the Secretary of Commerce. The appointment is for 3 years.

 

February 2012, RI-Nili Shalev, Israel's Economic Minister to North America at the Economic Mission in New York, visited Rhode Island last week for the first time since taking up her position in August 2011. The visit was organized by Avi Nevel, CEO, President of Nevel International, LLC. During her visit, Ms. Shalev met Rhode Island governor Chafee, three Rhode Island companies, members of the RICC and participated in an evening event organized in collaboration with the RI CIE and Providence Chamber of Commerce.

April 2010, Mr. Nevel received an award from the Israeli Consulate in Boston for his remarkable work in supporting strong economic collaboration between Israel and New England.

 

Mr. Nevel was recently interviewed by the Chattanooga Times Free Press in Georgia about U.S. companies in international business.
